Yea, I'm sure this has to do with the recent recall of batteries.

I believe the problem was they were getting very hot and some would even catch on fire.

Some of you who think this is all silly apparently have not seen the pics of the truck that was gutted by a fire after the owner left his Dell notebook on the front seat.  I will post a link after I get home later tonight.

Jeff - that was a pretty nasty event. However, the damage would not have been nearly so bad if the box of shotgun shells in the vehicle had not ignited and lit the fuel tank.
