Most of the time it is from twisting the display when the display is opened use equal points or in middle. top any flexing could cause the micro solder joints on the back of the pannel not to contact. Also allot of moisture will corrode these points and you will get simmilar results.. It also could be just a faulty lcd cable or inverter. Normally though this would be considered a fault in the screen . I would persue getting a replacement cable and inverter if not just a whole panel from say an online aution if the system is out of warantee. If it is still within waratee call tech support and they will diagnose it to be replaced. Good luck let us know..
It's out of warranty. I took it to a service and they said that a cable short-circuited. Anyway, that part that I need isn't sold separately, I need to replace the whole display... I'm not in the States so I can't call tech support, but I'll try to get a seccond oppinion from a professional. Thanks for the advices.
If you have acsess to an online aution such as ebay most parts can be sold seperatly. Just make sure that the seller is reputable and will ship out of the states..I know that there is alot of options for that model. The most compatable systems are 6400, e1505 some b130,b1300, b120, b1200 will work..You should be able to pick up a lcd cable for aron 25.00 US plus shipping ..
Phone tech support again and have them bom the part down to just the cable, almost every part can be sold seperately, all the cables can come apart I wouldn't rely on spare parts to find the part #
