I am using the release build. I am a Microsoft Partner so I got it early.
I am running Vista Ultimate.
While it installed the drivers with no problem, there is no profile support. They removed it from Beta2/RC1 for what reason I don't know. Some people have come up with some hacks, but I have yet to get my Motorola headphones to work yet.
I'm also running Windows Vista Ultimate, also i'm a Microsoft Partner, got Vista early, I have a problema, Windows Vista DID recognize the 355 bluetooth card, BUT, in windows Device Manager, there are a lot of "Blueetooh Perpherial Device" still unrecognized, I installed the driver from the Dell support site but did not recognized this devices. Any help?
I have the Dell M2010 portable - its awesome - however I cannot get the bluetooth to finish connecting to the Motorola HT820 headphones. Plugging in the DC800 sending unit to the audio output works fine to the headphones. The M2010 sees both devices but gives error messages that communications fail when connecting to these devices. I suspect that new software is needed for the M2010. I am running XP. Any suggestions on how to get the Dell PCs to talk to these headphones?
I'm in the same boat. I'm an MS partner and am running Vista Ultimate with my Dell laptop and cannot get the ht820's to work. MS or Motorola need to step up with a driver because my 820's are now a $100 paperweight!
I had many problems pairing devices with the 355 and the resolution was to replace it with the 350. Tech support seems unaware of any problems and the sales group couldn't tell me the difference between the two cards but the 350 is $60 and the 355 is $20 and I guess you get what you pay for.
Once I installed the 350 and installed the drivers I was able to pair to my Logitech wireless mouse (MX1000) and I just added the Logitech FreePulse headphones. I have seen several other posts regarding inability to pair with bluetooth devices woth the 355.
I completely disabled my 355 and got a little motorola bluetooth dongle. I was able to finally hear stereo audio through my headphones!... then... now whenever I plug the dongle into my laptop, Windows Vista freezes and never recovers.
