How to connect PC wirelessly

Question

We have a cable modem, which is connected to a wireless router for my wife's laptop.  My Dell Dimension 4600 is connected to the wireless router.  I want to move my PC to another room, and connect to the internet wirelessly also.  First, I'm not entirely sure what equipment I need, and second, I'm concerned about losing internet connectivity speed, currently at 100 mbps.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Thank you.

ctrap,   Since even the fastest broadband internet service is not faster than 15 Mbps, which is still much slower than 54 Mbps of the current standard wireless network adapters, you will not loose any speed with a wireless connection!   Steve

Interesting, I thought it was faster when I am cabled. But I guess not, maybe I don't trust the wireless connection. I have lost my connection when only about 3 feet from the router. Maybe the problem is with my connection, because the other was in my head.  :smileyvery-happy:
