inspiron 9300

Question

just recently my inspiron has been unable to detect the a/c power supply. the green light shows on the power supply so i know that it works but when i plug it into my inspiron it does not detect it. i have to constantly play with the cord, like move it in different positions in order for the charging light to come on. now that will not even work. and my warranty is expired. do i need a new battery?can anyone help me???

The system board needs repair (if possible) or replacement (if not). www.aqstech.com is one place that does power jack repairs.
