dell printer driver update problem

Since updating the driver via dell support notiication, my error light has been flashing.

Try to uninstall everything. printer driver and everything related to the printer. Make sure to turn off printer and disconnect the printer USB cable from the computer first before uninstalling the driver and firmware. After uninstalling everything, restart your computer. And while computer is ON. Connect the printer back to the computer and turn On printer.   You should be seeing a balloon Found New Hardware. Then Install the driver. See if your Error light is blinking still.
