If by TV monitor you mean stuff like video games and dvd players, then yes. You can use the composite/s-video/component inputs for that. As far as quality goes it all depends on the resolution of the source and such.

The majority of the people I've seen post about using their 2407 for purposes other than a computer monitor have not been extremely happy with the results. Most opinions seem to range from satisfactory to very unhappy. That said, I'm pretty happy with mine as a computer monitor.

monitor is awsome as a pc monitor, best I had in a quality picture.

BUT its a pc monitor! not a tv, its resolution is extremely high and unless your using extremely high resolution source like 1080p blu-ray and hd dvds or xbox 360 and ps3 inputs everything else will look like garbage. Thats lcd technology in general, there is no magic monitor that will do all the resolution under the sun with them looking good.

Sad thing is with this monitor there are some problems even with xbox360 and ps3 inputs with I hear there is no 1:1 ratio so there is going to be some lvl of distortion.

Get this for an awsome kick best bang for you buck 24' pc monitor, its not an all arounder, and there is none so pick what your going to do the most and get the lcd tv in that resolution.
