This applies to the 2007WFP and 2407WFP, see if it works for you:
Make sure that the Burnin Mode option is off in the OSD Service Menu.
To access the service menu:
1. Turn off the monitor, hold 'menu ' and '+' buttons at the same time while turning it on.
2. After the power is on, let go of the 2 buttons and then press the '-' button.
Ensure that the Burnin Mode option is off. Exit the menu.
No, this does not harm the computer - it is just 'burn in' mode. This is accessed by the service menu & since gpro s advice didn't work I would advice finding out from tech. support how to access it to turn it off.
By default it is 'off' so someone has left it in the 'on' position.
