Auto Run CD

I can not get my CD / DVD player to auto run anything loaded. It will no longer bring up the option box which asks if you want to open the file / view a slide show / create a copy etc.

I have tried the regedit solution suggested - but the auto run key is already set to 1...?

any suggestions????

Load Tweak UI (from Microsoft) and it may allow you to turn it back on.

It was a program that installed that had something in it to turn various windows features among other things. I have managed to fix most of the others that were relatively minor, but this one was causing some issues. That program worked very easily. There was a simple option in this program under the My Compuyer Section drilling down to auto play. It just a matter of turning it back on.

Where in tweek ui do you see auto run?I have looked in mine and find no reference to it? I have version 2.10. (Thanks Never mind I opened my eyes and found it.)
