You can use a 2nd Harddrive Module in the Modular Bay, but it will leave you without a CDROM. A C/Dock II would give you an extra modular Bay for the CDROM and a Floppy Parallel Port cable would also let you connect a Floppy drive. I did this once with a CPiA and it worked fine, but your laptop use with both OS would be limited.
Yes, it has the optical drive bay, and two modular drive bays (one obviously has to be a battery), that can be used for drives, or an extra battery which I have in it now! Didn't know that I could buy a seperate enclosure so I could have a second HD in that bay!

Also true for the Inspiron 8000/8100/8200, Chris. Additionally, the LS120 Super Floppy does not work on the Parallel Cable even on models which do support it.
