Not able to install driver for miniPCI on Latitute C640

Question

Not able to install driver for miniPCI (INTEL PRO/Wireless 2200 802.11b/g MiniPCI Adapter K3444) on Latitude C640   I am able to install the physical card on the back of the laptop but not able to find a driver for it.  When I try installing this driver http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/type.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&SystemID=LAT_PNT_PM_D400&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=5896&libid=5   I get an error saying that ' 'ERROR-This installer does not support installation on this computer' I noticied during next step of installation after unzipping the file the 'C640' is not listed so it leads me to believe this is the right driver for this mPCI.   Is there a way to get around or somehow get it to work with another driver? I know people who used the mPCI card with this driver but not able to get an answer from them.   Many Thanks!

Try downloading the drivers for that card directly from the Intel web site.   Steve

Thank you guys but I had already tried this one too...does not work.   I think I'll ripp the thing out and trying another card or external :(
