2407WFP USB ports not working?

Question

Hey guys I recently bought a 2407WFP from the Dell website. I've noticed the USB ports on the monitor but whenever I try to plug in things like my mouse or keyboard it doesn't work. I've downloaded the newest driver from this site(the drivers on the CD don't work) if anyone can let me know how to make them work I'd greatly appreciate it!

You can find that a usb cable that can connect the usb port on the bottom of the LCD and the usb port of the system, and then the USB port on the LCD should work...

Err no, did one come with the monitor? So there's an upstream USB cord that I plug into the monitor then into one of the USB ports on my computer?

that's right, it should have come with the monitor, if not you can buy one anywhere - type A connector one end, type B on the other.
