2407FP Monitor showing PINK screen when switched to component video

Question

I have a problem with the component video input.   I hooked my xbox360 to the component input of my monitor, played in 1080i for a couple of days it worked just fine and looked great.   Turned off my system, both monitor and xbox one night. Next day, turn everything back on, the screen looks pink   Trying reseting the xbox 360, reseting monitor defaults, unplugged and plugged back in all cables. Still same pink screen when connecting the xbox 360 to the component video input   When I hook it to the composite video input it works.   Also played around with all possible combinations of the settings on my xbox 360, same results.

very common issue....it will go away itself sometimes and sometimes it will come back up..this is what i did to get rid of it (a03 rev...now i have a04) unplugged power...pressed and held down power button for about 15-20 secs...put the cable back in...power it up..works ok...   but it was getting hectic..so i just decided to play @ 720p instead...1080i aint that great anyways..720p is better anyways.   also on a03 or a04 on component only my screen is 'jumpy' so the gameplay is not that good.....any solution for that?
