This might be best posted in the Software/Windows XP forum, not being a portable hardware issue.   That said, try pressing the F8 key repeatedly during boot time, which should bring you to the boot menu in Windows, then select "Safe Mode", which should bring you to the original admin account which, if you are lucky, has no password attached.  If you can login with that, you can then set a new password for the admin account which is giving you trouble.  Good luck!

Sorry for posting in the wrong subject.............  I tried the F8 & got into safe mode.............two accounts came up & guess what????????  yep it wanted passed words for each...........i don't remember setting a password for the administrator but the hint was the same for both, so assuming(yes i know)it is the same as the user account...........i'm blank.  If i go in & mover the password jumper will that reset the password in XP?  Otherwise, I'm at a loss..........HELP!!!
