Try this site:
Or google "remove items from msconfig" and take your pick. It involves editing the registry so it should be loads of fun!

After you had unchecked the items in Msconfig, did you restart, then check the box at the bottom of  the 'you are in selective mode' message, then restart again? That is the way to permanemtly remove items from the msconfig startup tab.

Yes I HAVE done that. And to the other poster before you, I dont wish to mess with my registry. The way to resolve it doesnt have to involve doing that. So you didnt have to respond with a suggestion like that.

Dont listen to db, he's just mad because he wasnt getting the question I was asking, and so that is why I wasnt taking his suggestions. He simply wasnt paying attention to what I wanted to know.

But I appreciate your help:smileyhappy:

No use trying to help this person as he/she knows more than all us and doesn't appreciate any help offered. What we offered will work but who cares?
