2407 VGA better q than DVI

Question

Count me among the happy campers, I'm blown away by the iq on my 2407. I'm using integrated ATI video card which works well except for some flicker on text at native res. Thought I'd improve it with a Nvidia 7600 graphics card but while the flickering is gone, image quality is, I think, inferior to the analog input. Anyone else experienced this or is my new video card a dud? It's a BFG GEforce 7600 GTE. I'm not a gamer, most interested in photo editing. I'd appreciate any pointers toward a graphics card slanted to photo editing. Chuck

Depends on your eyes.    I prefer digital over analog, and so do many others.  However, as in life, not everyone can see as well as others or the perception is different to each of us.  Very happy with my 2407 dvi settings.  Glade you like yours.    Make sure when in digital settings, you have cleartype turned on.

Let me take this opportunity to reract what I said about prefering VGA. Got the drivers properly installed, cleartype workin and she's kickin like a chicken. On the bad side, though, I now realize that about one out of a thousand of my photos are as good as I'd like em to be. Chuck
