First, remove the battery from the laptop. Then, with the case open, find the nickel sized battery on the motherboard. Remove this battery for a minute or two and then put it back in. Then turn the computer back on. This is the standard method for clearing a CMOS when you are unable to determine which pins need to be jumpered. I'm not so sure that everything is stored in NVRAM as opposed to some settings being stored in a EEPROM. If so, you may just have to flash the BIOS over (even if it is to the same version). Also, I would recommend re-downloading the BIOS than using the previous one you used if you were updating the BIOS.
