Latitude D600 with C Dock docking station - want to add vid card

Question

I want to put a new video card in the PCI slot but it appears as though I need a power supply with at least 150 watts. Anyone know what the power supply in the C dock 2 is? I checked the manual but it doesn't say.

The easyest way is to just call dell.or , if you have an amper reading just multiply that with the woltage and you will have the power

Hi, The Power requirement on my C Dock 2 Station is 90 watts @ 20volts ie  90 / 20 = 4.5 amps. I purchased the Dell PA9 Ac Power Supply 20V 4.5amp PA-9 NEW from China /Ebay   Regards Sharon

To my knowledge the c dock only supports PCI video cards wich are older and should not require a big wattage.My older amd2200+ had a 350watts power source wich carryed 2HDD, ati radeon 9200se, cd-rw unit, a cd-rom unit plus the coolers and an extra case cooler.I should also state that i've installed a cooler on the graphic card too. you should be fine with the 90 watts.try and see how hot it gets....if it doesn't get too hot you should be ok. I have a 66w brick on a c640 with cII/advanced port replicator
