Inspairon 8000 help!!

Question

well....I got this inspairon 8000 from a friend. Theres no cd drive(going to buy one soon). it has a dead battery(it works just no charge). Has not been used in a long time, and now it won't turn on.  I reaset all the system parts and it still won't work. Not even any lights turn on when i connect the DC adapter. The charger still works because it still has a green light on(but not on the laptop). So please can someone help me?

sound like a bad or loose charger board which is under the keyboard.

it was not loose. and currently i have no money to buy one what else can i try for free?

Not much; you will need to start replacing parts if you hope to have an operational system again.
