I pulled all cables out of the monitor (vga, dvi, usb, power). I pulled the vga cable out of the vid card and connected the DVI cable. Then, I connected the power and DVI cable to the monitor and turned it on.
Same thing. I'll try also powering down the computer and powering it back up, in conjunction with doing the monitor steps again.
I really shouldn't have to do any of this. Does anyone test these monitors before they're shipped off? I would think switching from VGA to DVI or vice versa would be one of the main test cases for this product in the development cycle.

So everything works if you power everything down and unhook all the cables, and hooking up just the DVI connection and rebooting.
Who needs plug and play anyway? I feel like I'm back in the mid 90's again. Thank you Dell for the blast of retro I so badly needed.
