2001FP curios error situation: no OSD, power save mode on

Question

Hi all,   the error situation is very curios and strange but hopefully somebody can help me ?! 1) no PC or sth else is attached - When starting the DELL 2001FP the status message 'Dell Ultra sharp' is    shown for a few seconds, that should be normal. - no selftest-banner occurs - choosing the menu button no OSD menu occurs. The input signal starts with 1 RGB - choosing the input button it change from input 1 to 2    => 2:DVI occurs for a second   => then it change to power save mode automatically   => the power led changes from green to orange - choosing the input button it change from input 2 to 3   => 3:DVI occurs for a second   => then it change to power save mode automatically   => the power led changes from green to orange   the same procedure happens for S-VHS and composite input Pressing the menu button while the 2001FP is in power save mode, the message ... [input] is in power save mode occurs ... press any key or move mouse.   2) a PC is attached to RGB or DVIExample: After connecting the 2001FP to DELL Latitude D820 Notebook and changing the output to internal and external display the cloned Notebook screen occurs for half a second on the 2001FP then display changes to black. DGSTPL, If the Self-Test Feature Check (STFC) fails, it is time to replace the monitor.

DGSTPL, I really do not know. We do not have any documentation on monitor parts. All we do is exchange them. We do not repair them.
