2407WFP A04 does not support softMCCS. A03 and below did.

Malow, DUH!! I forgot I was testing the VGA. Once connected to DVI, softMCCS worked.

is 'DDC-CI (ISP)' 'on' on service menu??? this is the option to disable/enable DDC/CI...

ddc also works under vga. softmccs should work also with vga cable.

hmm, DDC-CI (ISP) is on. They had just flashed my monitor to A04 in the lab when I noticed this softMCCS issue...maybe I will take it back there and have them redo the flash.

Chris   Does Dell have an on-screen software control applet that replaces all the buttons on the 2407wfp for WinXP?   Painful to go through all the button presses when running a calibration/profiling cycle.   tnx jim
