Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this question, but it's rather urgent. I received a replacement system from dell, and I need to send back the old system. The instructions say to send it back in the SAME box. However, I need to ship my new system back to my Dad in Louisiana, and I would rather send it in the box it came in. I have another box that would work. When dell sent my old system back from attempted repair, I kept the box it came in. Can I attach the waybill to this box and send the system back that way, as long as the reference number is on the waybill? If not, what are my options? Thanks.

In my opinion I don't think it would matter which box you use, as long as it is the Dell box that it came in.... They are concerned mainly with it being properly packaged.   Then again why don't you use the older box to ship the new PC to your dad? There is no difference is there?   pcgeek11

You can send the laptop at any box but do not forget to attach the waybill :smileywink:
