Maybe your monitor is connected to the computer with VGA connector.  Isn't is supposed to be better with DVI connection?

However, when I use DVI connector on mine, it doesn't work.  It only works with VGA connector.  I think something is wrong with mine or I am doing something wrong.

Anyone care to comment on it?

gokgok,

IS this how it looked out of box? Have you reloaded the video card driver?

My dumb mistake.

It seems that I just needed to power down the computer before swaping the cable from VGA to DVI.

Now it works fine.

Spent about 2 hours with Dell support group, did reinstall nVidia driver for Vista. Most improvements got from resolution changed to 1400x900 and resetting factory video parameters.
Still fonts are not sharp as in winXP
Did not see any DVI connector on the back of computer, how you guys connect it? On the monitor side I saw  wide (~1") soccet with 2 groups 3x3 and another one flat pins. Is it for DVI?
