Dell 2005FPW, green and pink vertical banding problem.

Question

Hi,   I purchased this 2005FPW LCD from dell on oct of 2005. I am starting to have problems with this LCD. I am getting two weird green and pink vertical bands on the left side of the screen (about 1.5inches wide). It use to come and go....but now the green band is constantly there and the pink band comes up on random. Sometimes the whole LCD gets distorted by the two bands. I thought that it might have been a video card problem, but I already tested that and its not.   I also tried another LCD (dell 19 inch) and everything was okay.   Is there a defect in the LCD? I am having the exact same problem.   My vertical bands are covering a huge portion of my monitor screen.    I purchased mine in October of 2006 - almost one year ago.    Can you share what you learned?
