2007WFP dripping from top

Question

System info: Monitor = 2007WFP Tower = DELL XPS 600 Dual Core PD 3.0GHz Geforce 7800GTX SLI .... System powerded by Windows XP. The top 1/4 of monitor gives the appearance of a thick substance, such as paint, oozing down .... sort of scallop edges the color of a lite gray. Any ideas what's causing it? And is it repairable? Do you mean stuff is coming out of the moniter? If so STOP using it because LCDs contain Mucurey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, my description was not too clear ... the dripping appearance is inside the screen .... it's a lite gray discoloration at the top of my screen, it covers approximately a quarter of the top. Thank you, Pam In Palmdale

Did you set all settings to the default? The moniter may be dying. I have a CRT Dell Moniter and it from the year 2003 and had no problens with it.

A monitor purchased with a computer after 12/12/2005 uses the length of the computer warranty (90 days, 1 year, 2 year, etc). Your warranty expired on 5/4/2007.
