Kafka or Dante - You decide!!!

Question

Brand new Inspiron 6400 (my first Dell) and I cannot access anything (support/warranty) on the Dell site.  Why I hear you ask.   Well - the service tag on the base, in bios and as found by the online utility is not recognised by the Dell database........it tells me it is 'incorrect'   So - I can't contact support to discuss the issue of the incorrect service tag because the service tag is incorrect.........   As I said, Kafka or am I descending through the Dante's Seven Levels (of what I cannnot say as the word is proscribed.....)   :manmad:

Are you trying in the country of original sale? A European service tag won't show up at support.dell.com in the US, and vice-versa.

Good point - I have now tried on the UK site (Euro.dell) with the same result!!

Found the scrolling speed. Thx. The scrolling is really backward. I have a GlidePoint device that has a compatibility option which reverse the direction. I don't know what compatibility really means. Not sure how to do it with Synaptics.
