excuse me if theres an edit option, but i didnt see it. I forgot to ask, if...and it's a big if...I chose to buy the 2407-hc and found this problem to be bad enough to make me not want the monitor, would I be able to return the monitor for a flat out full refund?
Yeah I wasn't really considering that, just curious. However, there is already a 24" TN panel out -- it's not a "future" panel. What I'm asking is if there's really a 24" UltraSharp coming (a non-TN panel with the defects fixed)
TN panels noted for side to side viewing angels have washed out display at an angle.
S-PVA's ans S-IPS are better side to side.
The ghosting issue seems to be worse on some panels and not as bad on others, depends what you get, you can return it for a refund and if it's defective ask for a prepaid return shipping and don't pay restocking since it'll be Dell's fault.
Yeah I'm aware of all that. My main question is just are new 24" PVA panels coming out? A 2008 edition that will eliminate the ghosting problems with the 2407.
No body knows for sure, but...When was the last time Dell launched an all-new monitor with a non-TN panel? The 2407WFP-HC doesn't count, as it is a upgrade (?) of the 2407WFP
did the 2407WFP (non HC) have the inverse ghosting/overdrive ghosting problem that is on the HC? I've heard you can sometimes still pick these up. Also does ultrasharp=HC?
