psat,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

The Inspiron 5100 and 5150 are not compatible with the C/Dock I or II.  In fact, the 5100 and 5150 do not have a specific Port Replicator, and the only ones that are compatible are USB models.

Kevinklo,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
No, the I4000 has it's own APR you must use.
You can see the docs for the APR here.

Is there any solution for docking with the Dell 5150?  Is there a Dell part number that can be ordered?

Kimchi,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
The 5150 does not have a docking port, so you have to use a USB docking device.
You can use the Targus USB docking device.
You can see it here.

Are there any known printing issues using a USB dock and a 5150 with XP Pro?

I am using an HP Laserjet5 and within the past 2-3 weeks,  the printer shows being off-line.

I've reinstalled the printer drivers several times in addition to getting upgraded drivers and using the resident drivers in XP to no avail.

Any thoughts?

thanks

Eric
