Switched to XP now nvida Go 7950 GTX drivers not working properly

Question

I recently purchased a XPS M1710 pre installed with vista. After a week i decided vista was not for me so i reinstalled XP home. I installed all appropriately XP drivers including video driver for 512MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7950 GTX  all seem to work well However there is a slight problem with the graphics now, The resoulution and most aspects are ok except all icons look very jagged and all graphics when viewing webpages look like there scrunched up and look awful I have tried different ver of the driver and can get the graphics to look nice, i have even played around with different resolutions and cant figure it out, has anyone had this issue and found a solution, any assistance would be great Shawn

I posted on this issue a while ago. Same deal: Go 7950 GTX will not operate properly with XP. On my system, the screen image scrolls up and down *very* rapidly, making the computer inoperable. Dell Support was kind enough to replace my keyboard, touch-pad and video card but there has been no improvement.   Maybe another m1710 user has found a tweaked vid-driver...?
