You might want to check to see if your CMOS battery is dead and replace it if necessary. Also see the following - although it is probably not the cause of the error, it does give you a means of dealing with the error. If after resetting the BIOS the problem comes back, it is probably an indication of a bad CMOS battery.

You'll have to contact HP or check out their website for that information. Dells and HPs are different.
