2405FP Not displaying BIOS/POST with ATI Radeon 3870HD

Question

I just switched out my two PCI-Express X1950 Pro video cards out of my system for a pair of Radeon 3870HD video cards. When I use the DVI cable and display on my 2405, it does not display the POST and doesn't have any display till Windows Vista propts you to enter your password. I switched around both video cards, just installed one card instead of two and it still does it. I also disabled the fast boot feature on the BIOS and that didn't make any difference. I had no problems at all with the previous video cards doing this. The Monitor works if I use the analog VGA Cable however.   I also just built a brand new PC with a different brand 3870HD video card and it does the same thing as the computer listed above with the same monitior.   Any suggestions?   Thanks

sdimmick, This is how we corrected it on Dell systems. Go into the PC BIOS- Setup and turn Fastboot to Off.
