m6300 freezes after dell startup screen after installing TPM

Question

I've just get my new dell precision m6300. Now i have a problem with my TPM.  I searched for the forum a while and nothing with my problem seems like it. The next is thing hapen.   I want to activate my Fingerprint so i search at the forum. And found activate in you're bios the securty so i did. Vista starts up and i run that wave program. At the end of this he ask to reboot so i did. The Dell logo starts up with the progress beam under it. It  took al long time  and that was strange but i think new install take maybe a little time. So i decide to wait, The next screen that appears is a black screen with de cursor blicking at the left top of the screen. Then it likes to freez. So i reboot en press f2 of f12 at the top of the screen it says preparing enter setup or by f12 preparing one-time boot menu.and then i see te black screen again with the cursor.     My bios is a revision A01   Can it make a difference if i replace jumpers cmos and pswrd and place them back so that the system is reset?   Where can i find them (jumpers) on this system my manual says nothing about it.   plz help me, i don't know how i can fix this

I'm guessing, but you could try going to your BIOS and clearing the TMP ownership and redoing the ownership procedure. If you get the blinking cursor, wait 10 minutes. If nothing happens then something is wrong and I'm out of proposals.

It's already solved a guy from Dell came and replaced my motherboard. I've got still the question how  can i install de fingerprint so that it works? Can anybody help me with it?

There is another thread on these forums which actually points to a 'YouTube' video where someone recorded the whole process as the m6300 goes dead after enabling the fingerprint scanner (he had previously correctly activated the TPM in the BIOS).   Here's the YouTube! link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LOJzqLzcBco   Someone replied that if you disconnect the fingerprint scanner from the motherboard, the system would actually boot and allow you to upgrade the BIOS and fix the problem.   In his own words...'Unplug the cable that runs from the scanner to the motherboard (remove the keyboard) and reboot, it will allow you to go in. Go into the BIOS and remove the system password and it will allow you to get into windows. Update the BIOS and the problem is fixed. '....I don't know if this actually works.........   Now....my question is: Does someone know if the A00 BIOS that is now available on the support download site has the code corrections to prevent the 'Fingerprint scanner of Death issue?.....
