Screen disappears while watching TV in Media Center when minimized

Help!!   I use MCE to watch TV while I am working online. I minimize the screen and adjust to about
25% size and move it to an upper corner so I can still see the main screen.  The last time I tried to minimize the screen it flew totally off the main screen and I can not get to it to move it back.  I have started and restarted everything, I have changed the pixels, I have done the ctrl alt and arrows, but can not see minimized screen to move it back into view. When  I click on it on the task bar I can only maximize it. When I restore, I can see it fly off the screen to the left. I can still hear the audio but no screen. It sounds so simple but I am at loss at what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mary,
You were right I was using the wrong phrase, I needed to use re size instead of minimize.
I tried everything but it did not work. Thanks so much for your help.

JRosenfeld,
It worked!!!!!!!!   I have my screen back!!! I used the second method you offered

it worked like a charm!!!! I have been trying to fix this for 2 days. I have restarted this poor computer more than a dozen times.
Thanks again so very very much

If you mean that you have a window open (hence showing in the taskbar), but that it is positioned off screen, try

or the equivalent with mouse:

Minimizing (to taskbar) means it runs on the taskbar and the window is not visible. I think you mean to resize the windows, not minimize. You also have to resize the main window to make it smaller since as soon as you click on it, it will come to the front and hide the smaller window. Do not press the minus sign to minimize since that will make it disappear and run only in the taskbar. Do not maximize either window (2 overlapping windows symbols) either, since you need both windows to be in the adjustable size. Bring it up from the taskbar, click on the middle icon on the upper right if it is in max mode and then adjust to desired size.
