Open the Dell Wireless utility and remove the check mark next to the box that says "Let this utility manage my wireless networks".

To help troubleshoot this problem, on the computer with the problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

Didn't I just say "I need to see it all.  Don't leave anything out."?

If you think that it is necessary to hide the IP addresses, think again.  Any internet site you visit knows those IP addresses - the internet would not work if they didn't!   Besides, since you are trying to connect through a router, the ip addresses will be local non-routable addresses.   Thus, leaving them out does not protect you, but it inhibits me from helping you.  Keep this in mind for the future.

You have assigned your wireless adapter a static ip address.  Why?   If that static IP address is not in the range of your router, your wireless connection will never work. You need to set it to obtain an IP address automatically. Open Network Connections, right click your wireless connection and select Properties. Find the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), select it, then click on the properties button. Put a check mark next to "Obtain an IP address automatically", and, if necessary, put a check mark next to "Obtain DNS server address automatically".

No, it is not all of it.  There is at least one line left out!

Do you have any security settings enabled on your router (WEP or WPA encryption)?  If so, temporarily disable encryption on the router and see if you can connect.  Is MAC Address filtering enabled on your router?  If so, have you entered the MAC address of your wireless adapter into the table of allowed MAC addresses on the router?

I am asking about security on your router.  Did you set up the router or did someone else set it up.  Have you ever been able to connect to the internet on this computer through your current router before?

(One problem I foresee, is that the first time you posted the ipconfig output, you left out all the numbers.  Many of those numbers might have been helpful in diagnosing your problem.  When you changed the setting and posted a new ipconfig output, some of those numbers were no longer generated, thus we have lost the diagnostic information).
