When I press Fn and the J,K,L,U,I, and O I do not get a number, however sometimes when logging in the J and K become the # 1 and 2. Any ideas.

Run the Dell diagnostics (F12 at boot) on the keyboard. If it fails the tests, replace the keyboard.
