Hi adwhammy.

I'm sorry I can't tell you if your log is ok, but I wanted to let you know that I also have exactly the same problem with my Inspiron 9300 (XP, sp2, Home Edition, all latest Windows Updates). The problem started about a month ago and I still can't figure out why. I don't recall installing anything in that time period.

Anyway, if I get any info on this, I'll keep you posted.

edit: I ran disk cleanup, defragmented, checked my startup and services lists, ran CCleaner (registry cleaner), ran antivirus and antimalware scans on the machine and online (nothing found), and ran dell extended diagnostics (all tests passed) - none of them helped.
