Using a drag&drop moving 26 MB took 105 seconds on the express card and 7 seconds on a usb port card reader that plugs directly into a USB port. (Same card, Same data)
I bought an express port card reader to save me the hassle of having more cords around all the time, but... is the express card port a low speed USB port?

HI!
Maybe late, but could be usefull:
I had the same problem with a hybrid dvb-t expresscard on M90.
The issue: enable USB2 in the bios (it was disabled...)
then try... it should work.
Have a nice day :)
