I have been talking with Support at XFX and they are considering that the monitor is not sending the EDID(Extended Display Identification Data) information properly, and the possibility of a firmware update for the monitor, do you think that might be possible?
I since have removed the analog cable and the digital is the only cable connected.

Disconnect the analog cable from the video card. Power on the monitor, then the PC. Any difference?

My boot goes like this:
Turn on monitor
Turn on computer
Intel boot screen comes up
Windows boot screen comes up
Horizontal line flashes on screen
Monitor goes to power save mode
Turn off monitor
Hit reset on computer
Wait for windows to boot
Turn on monitor
System works great
