Okay, thank you for that information. Do you happen to know if the 2408WFP and its integrated video processor can process and display 480i(interlaced) video signals properly? The reason I ask this is because the vast majority of Playstation 2 games use 480i(interlaced) video encoding, so it would be pointless for me to purchase a monitor that cannot process and display 480i(interlaced) video signals properly, because I would not be able to even play most Playstation 2 games on such a monitor. I have read that most LCD monitors cannot process and display 480i(interlaced) video signals. Is this true? Thanks.

The manual says, 'Video display capabilities (Component playback) 480i/480p/576i/576p/720p/1080i/1080p'.
I think, as you suspect, that 480i/p scaled up to full screen res. is not going to look too good.
Hopefully someone will post their experience.
