Does the same thing happen with video files stored locally on the hard drive? If not, you have a connection problem with your ISP (or the server you're connecting to does).
Thank you for this. I don't have any videos stored locally (it is a very new machine!) so I can't check out your suggestion. However I have just sent an email to my ISP - how useful that will be is another matter!
Correction to my earlier reply. I do have video clips on my system - they come with the package 0 and they play perfectly. Which means, I think, that you are right; the problem is with my ISP. Thanks again
