What type of wireless usb adapter do I need for an inspiron 1200?

Just wondering if anyone could help me out with this! I had a netgear adapter that worked great before it broke and I can't remember the type. I ordered another one and it wasn't the right one. I am computer illiterate and have no idea the differences between all the numbers and letters!! Thanks!!

It would be most helpful to know what make and model wireless router you have, but without that, if you are just looking for a USB wireless adapter, any standard 802.11b/g USB wireless adapter will work.
