* Power off the monitor
* Disconnect the power cord from the monitor
* Disconnect all monitor cords from the PC video card
* While disconnected,
press and hold the monitor power button down for 3 seconds * Connect the monitor power cord to the wall socket. Do not use a surge protector or APC
* Reconnect the power cord to the monitor
* Power on the monitor if it does not power on by itself
* Use the Input button and toggle to HDMI. What happens?
Okay, heres an update. I can use my Xbox 360 Elite with no problem. I tried two different make/model set top boxes (cable boxes) with no luck. I have a cheap hdmi to dvi cable, but when I tried that the screen was greenish and went to snow every few seconds and back. If anyone happens to have any suggestions or workarounds that would be great.

Mikey,
I think the reason you see greenish when connected via DVI to HDMI is due to video mode.
There is 2 type of video mode RGB (PC mode) or Ypbpr (Video mode)
I think in this case your set top box was outputting Ypbpr and the default for 2408 = RGB.
Check if you can change the video mode.
I am using HDMI to HDMI (2408WFP + Time Warner 8300HD scientific atlanta)
No problem so far.
Thanks
