The buzzing sounds like a faulty inverter. That needs a technician to repair. If you can't be without the sysetm for 7-10 days, call, buy an upgrade to onsite service, and then call for repair.
The keyboard is customer-replaceable.
Upgrading the RAM does not void the warranty - though if you buy RAM elsewhere, Dell won't warrant it, of course.
