Blue Screen (BSOD) occuring often in Inspiron 1420

Question

HI   i have been facing this problem right from the very first day i got my laptop up and running. i ignored it but now it seems that the problem is increasing and since  10th of July my system has shutdown with the blue screen for nearly 15 times and this is not what i expected from my new dell. (My other HP and Acer have served me really well without any hiccups or visits to service centres)   I hope that this has not been caused by a faulty memory module coz this is what had happened in my desktop quite long time back.
