2408WFP version A01 fixes what?

Question

I am strongly considering purchasing the ultrasharp 2408WFP for mostly gaming and I read about most of the problems that this LCD is having and am nervous to spend so much and have problems. What is the new version A01 supposed to fix? Does anyone know? If I purchase today or tomorrow will I be sent the new version?   Would anyone know if the E248WFP(almost half the price) would be a good substitute for gaming? This PC will be used for gaming mostly and I want a good monitor to play on.

So you need minimum input lag, the plain and cheaper 248 will do a much better job

I decided to go for the  E248WFP(cheaper 24' 2408wfp) and Im glad I did. This thing is great. The angles of view are not that bad. I have to lean over in my chair ot notice any change. Color looks good and my games run beautiful. Good monitor for half the price of the top end 24'.
