Inspiron E1505 Back Light Goes Out When I Plug In My Power Cord

Hello,      This is a problem that just started to happen out of the blue today. When I started up my computer (Inspiron E1505) which runs Vista, my desktop appeared for a second, then the backlight just turned off. The Screen still works because I can still faintly see my background so I know it is the backlight. I was able to isolate the problem so that I know the problem is that when I plug in my A/C adapter, the back light will go out. And if i pull it back out, the back light will NOT turn back on. So, if you have any comments or tips, I would be very grateful!   Thank You

Okay I just made the brightness be less when I plug in the power cord and everything seems to be working fine, i just can't turn up the brightness display...:smileyindifferent:
