The 8800GT requires only one 6 pin connector and thats all it has. A GTX has two 6 pin connectors and will run very well on the stock power supply

Am I right on using only 1 six pin connection on the GT version?

The one I have is 8800GT,not a GTX,but it has 2 -6 pin connectors,is it possible that I only have to connect 1 six pin connector to the 12 volt line??

If it has the connector, then it needs the power. Which manufacturer makes the version you're about to install? The standard 8800GT only has one power connector.

Im not sure what that pix of the card is but i do not think that it is a 8800gt. There is no reason that is should have two connectors like it definatly is showing. If it is it would be the only one on the market.

There is a reviewer in the listing below that states that the card does not look like the pix on the web site.

Can you provide a link. The 8800gt has only one 6 pin there has not been a need for two on that card. My 8800gts only has one connector. We are thinking you in fact have a GTX.

the one I got is exactly like the one in the picture,I know about that one reviewer said he did not get the pictured,the reviews are pretty good,also the price.I just got it today,and it looks like it's made pretty sturdy.Now all have to do is open the case and see if i have 2 -12 volt connections,too tired to do it tonight.The box says it's a GeForce 8800 GT and also the label on the card

The Dell 375 has two +12v rails, however it only has one 6 pin PCIe connector.

You'll need one of these adapters

Speaking of rails, how can you tell which to use or it doesn't matter, all molex will provide the necessary 12V and amps.

I have ps that has 4-12V rails each with 18A.  Now if i were to put in 2 GTX 260 would that be enough and could i use a 6-pin Y splitter to 6-pin to get 36 amps to each GTXs or would i need to use the molex?

I think a 750W with 72amps is enough for 2 GTX260s but i'm confused to how you would connect them up.

72amps = 840 watts

 The rails are hardly ever additive, you need to find the max wattage output of the +12v rails ( 700 watts [roughly 58 amps] in the case of the Dell psu ) in order to know the actual combined +12v ouput.

 Your card does not need 36 amps, that's the reccomendation for a power supply for the entire system with a 260GTX. The card uses roughly 11 amps, and with adapters the 750 watt psu is plenty for dual 260's.
