wireless problem on inspiron 1520 help

hi i have inspiron 1520 it was vista but i made it xp the wireless was working on vista but on xp no i downloaded the driver and installed it but its says driver is not installed why? help!

Did you install the Windows XP version of Dell's Notebook System Software (NSS)?  This is a pre-requisite on most newer Dell models after a clean OS installation and before installing other hardware drivers.

yes installed nss first and then the chipset and still say that the wireless driver not installed the nvidia driver works every other driver works exept wireless :( what i can do?
