The firmware is not user updatable and you can't just just call Dell and say you want the new firmware. You have to demonstrate a specific fault before they will exchange. Even then it is possible you will receive the old revision as a replacement.
I also have recently purchased one of these monitors (A00) and have had several difficulties with it. The first was an appearance of flashing red and green pixels, making it look like horizontal snow, now today I notice on my start up screen the top left corner of the screen has a lighter color than the rest of the screen. Are these also common problems with this monitor and A00 software?
This is very disappointing for such an expensive monitor that has such great claims and reviews. I love it otherwise, but these problems concern me. I never had any of these problems with my old Dell monitor (2007WFP).

while to say it , the lag issue is NOT a fault , so you cant claim on that.
as for the other stuff i cant say
